DMW architects are delighted to have gained planning approval, to convert and extend a penthouse apartment at Thames Reach a prestigious Richard Rogers Building in Hammersmith. The scheme introduces a glazed penthouse at the upper level together with an additional extension and extensive remodelling of the apartment.
The design approach fully respects the importance of the building with minimal changes to the existing fabric.
Lord Rogers was consulted during the consultation period and was supportive of the proposals. Construction is due to start mid 2020 and it’s estimated that it will take 4-6 weeks to construct the extensions, due to the prefabricated nature of the proposals.
