We're pleased to confirm that planning consent has been granted by BCP for a development of 6 new homes at this highly sought after location in Poole.
Tucked away at the end of a private road just meters from Sandbanks beach, the development makes provision for 5 town houses and a detached 2.5 storey house set around a courtyard. The courtyard is enclosed with a car barn providing sheltered parking for all units.
The houses feature first floor living spaces to enjoy sea views and level amenity to the rear, where the site slopes up considerably.
Prior to our involvement the site had been in the planning system for over two years. We were tasked with reconfiguring the layout with fresh eyes, in the hope that a new approach would turn the tide in favour of planning consent. Fortunately, following a successful pre app submission / meeting, the application was approved under delegated powers. As is so often the case, our 3d visuals and diagrams were central to our design process and convincing the planning officer in a site that is complex to depict and visualise in 2D elevation.
We're delighted to have achieved this result for Bracken Developments with the help of Giles Moir of CL Planning, Barrell Tree Care and BE Willis.
